If you’re a travel blogger like me, you know that monetizing your blog isn’t easy. Sometimes you create content, you recommend great places, you add affiliate links… and then you wait. And wait.
I used to earn small amounts every month, but I never knew when I would get paid. It was frustrating, and I felt like I was not using my blog’s potential as well as I could.

Is it a perfect solution that will make you a millionaire overnight? No.
Is it better than what I had before? Absolutely.
In this article, I’ll tell you what Stay22 is, how it works, what changed for me (including real numbers!), the advantages and disadvantages, and whether I think it’s worth it.
What Is Stay22 and How Does It Work?
Stay22 is a Canadian travel tech company that helps creators, bloggers, and website owners monetize their travel content. It connects your site with many affiliate programs like Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, GetYourGuide. If you have multiple sites (like me) you can also manage all of them in one dashboard.
Implementation of Stay22 is easy. You need to install a short script on your site (took me about 10 minutes), and then it automatically changes your existing affiliate links into Stay22 affiliate links.
Stay22 also has tools that help you boost earnings and improve conversion. One of them is called Let Me Allez (LMA). It:
- Shows personalized booking options when someone clicks your link. Based on the user’s country, behavior, and other data, it will open the platform and offer the user is most likely to use,
- Fixes broken links,
- Opens offers in a new tab automatically, sometimes even before the user clicks your links which maximazes the chance for conversion
What I liked a lot was that I didn’t have to figure everything out alone. Before installing Stay22’s script, I had a call with their representative. She explained how it works, answered my questions, and helped me set it up step-by-step.
Another benefit for me was that with Stay22, all my affiliate revenue accumulates in one place. No more chasing minimum payout thresholds on many platforms. Once I hit 100 USD, I can request a payout. I can do it once every 30 days, so it’s easier to plan my budget.

My Results and Advantages of Using Stay22
1. My Earnings Before and After
Let’s get to the part you’ve been waiting for: the real numbers.
Before Stay22, my yearly affiliate income was around 1200 EUR (1400 USD) yearly with mostly Booking.com
After using Stay22, my yearly revenue jumped to 2073 USD — and it keeps growing month by month. 🙂

I had higher income in 8 out of 11 months after I started using Stay22, and it was higher from 40% in July 2024 up to 312% in December!!

2. Access to New Partners
Before Stay22, I didn’t have the time or motivation to register with multiple companies like Expedia or Hotels.com. I didn’t think it made sense to dedicate the time.
Thanks to Stay22, which redirects the user to a platform they’re most likely to use, I started earning commissions from partners I never worked with before.
More partners = more bookings = more earnings with zero extra effort 🙂
3. Simplicity & Better Results Tracking

I can track everything for both of my websites at once, including which article generated the booking (it’s visible under “Campaign ID” below), see which platforms work best, and know exactly how much I earn each month.
I can also see how many people clicked my affiliate links, and how many booked. I have a 4,4% conversion from clicks to bookings – it’s a great result! Many online stores would love to have this high conversion rate! 😉
4. Personal Approach and Support
Before implementing the system, I had a short Zoom meeting with Stay22 representative, which was great. She was super patient, explained everything. I could share my doubts and ask questions.
It’s a small thing, but it definitely made it easier for me to make the decision.
5. Better Budget Planning
Before, I never knew when (or if) a payment would arrive. Unfortunately, Booking.com didn’t always keep its promise of payment after exceeding the 100 EUR threshold. There were times when I wasn’t receiving money for two or three months despite collecting the minimum amount.
With Stay22, I control when I request payouts (once I reach 100$). It allowed me to plan my budget better. 🙂
If you’re trying to go full-time with blogging (or even just earn steady side income), this is a great solution that increases your feeling of security.
Disadvantages of Stay22
The only disadvantage for me is that Stay 22 is missing some partners I’d like to use.
For example, I often recommend 12go for transport bookings in Thailand. Unfortunately, Stay22 doesn’t work with them (yet). So if a lot of your blog revenue depends on one specific partner that’s not supported, it will be a limitation.
But Stay22 keeps expanding. Since I joined, they added GetYourGuide, which was great news for me – it’s generating a regular income now 🙂 Hopefully 12go will join eventually too.
Sum-Up: Is Stay22 Worth It?
In short: yes. Since switching, my income is up, my work is easier, and I feel more motivated to keep building my blog.
Stay22 is a great solution if:
- You have a travel blog (even small or medium traffic)
- You want to monetize it smarter, not harder
- You don’t want to manage 10 different affiliate programs
- You want more predictable payments
